Baby Talk

Guess What? No, I am not pregnant. But I do have new pictures of my clay plant babies. Everyone is talking babies! I went home last weekend only to be interrogated by my entire family. "So when are you going to start?" "Are you preggos now? Your hair looks shiny." " Are you doing a lot of practicing?" Enough already! There will be no baby rush in 2010 or Spring 2011 for that matter.

But I do have new garden updates. I went out-of-town to Connecticut last weekend. I worried during the trip if my seedlings had enough water. I returned home and to my delight the Zinnias and Basil had begun to sprout!

It was a cold and rainy trip to CT for flag football, so I didn't stay at the field much.

On a short adventure to Home Depot, I stumbled upon this little surprise.

Jiffy makes a greenhouse for your seedlings. You can start 12 seedlings at ones.

Since I had a ton of seeds left from the clay pots. I thought why not ? I'll have back up if the clay pots don't work.


So I picked up the greenhouse, cilantro seeds , cucumbers seeds and carrots seeds.

This is all probably way to much for my first garden. So, I'm just going to blame it on the rain.
